Becoming a member of the Cross Church is a simple process and is available to any individual who values Personal Holiness, Christian Relationships and is willing to make a life investment in others. So what does that mean? 
 
Personal holiness
A person who knows God seeks to have a right relationship with God. As members, we are accountable to God’s standard of holiness and will take sin seriously in the lives of ourselves and others.
 
 Christian relationships:
As extensions of Christ’s body, it is our purpose to be used by Jesus in the way we make genuine friendships, encourage each other, and push each other to follow Jesus with wholehearted devotion. 

Life investment: 
We recognize that following Jesus requires all of us and each of us. As members we will faithfully serve, generously give, and genuinely honor others above ourselves.

MEMBERSHIP PROCESS FOR THE CROSS CHURCH

The Four Steps To Membership Are:

Step 1: Verify Believer’s Baptism
We believe that a Christian’s obedience to baptism should proceed with their pursuit of church membership. At The Cross Church, we submit to God’s command to become baptized as a response to the salvation we have already received and the personal relationship we have with. If you are a believer and would like to become baptized please connect with a Pastor. 

Step 2:  Complete Membership Packet
We ask that Every potential member complete and return a Membership packet which includes:

• Personal testimony of Salvation (Can be given verbally if preferred) 
• Agreement of Faith concerning doctrinal statements of the Cross Church.
• Commitment to Support, Submit, and Serve in the mission, vision, and work of The Cross Church.

 
Step 3: Meet with an Elder
Once you have returned your packet, an elder will reach out to you and set up a meeting to discuss your testimony and any questions you might have.


Step 4 Celebrated and Recognized
Becoming a member is a big deal. We believe it is something that should be celebrated.We want to celebrate you by:

Presenting your membership to the Church on a Sunday service for recognition.
