About Our Merger Before the Merger there was: The Cross Church, SBC at 1019 Cornell Ave. and Summitview Baptist Church at 8700 Summitview Ave. In October of 2008 the members of Summitview Baptist Church and The Cross Church, SBC joined together to form one church. The purpose was not to desolve either church, but to combine our God-given talents, abilities and resourses to better serve our community and be a witness for Christ. We agreed to keep the name "The Cross Church, SBC" and are located at 8700 Summitview Ave.
Recycle Take your used newspapers, paper, cardboard, cans, etc. to "Central Washington Recycling" at 2nd Ave. and A Street and tell them to credit The Cross Church account.
